Sensoria – what exactly is it / what’s behind it?

In the House of Fragrances and Flavours, you can find out all about smelling and tasting. The exhibition explains the senses, our everyday fragrant and flavourful products and their backgrounds. Just follow your nose.

When will Sensoria open?

Sensoria will open on the 28th September 2024.

What is the validity of the admission tickets?

Tickets are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.

What is the validity of the annual tickets?

They are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and include the visit of special exhibitions and the roof garden.

Where can luggage and jackets be stored?

The lockers are located right next to the lift.

Store your jackets and bags conveniently in the lockers, and your valuables will be kept safe for a deposit of 1 euro.
Please note: For security reasons, larger backpacks or bags may not be taken into the exhibition.

A wardrobe is also available. No liability is accepted for this.

Are pets allowed in the exhibition or on the roof garden?

Pets (with the exception of assistance dogs) are not permitted.

Can photographs be taken in the exhibition?

Photography is permitted in the exhibition for non-commercial purposes. However, please avoid using a tripod.

Are there any catering options in Sensoria?

No food and drinks are available for purchase in Sensoria.
The consumption of self-brought food and drinks is
is only permitted in the foyer. Catering options can be found within a few steps in the city centre. Please contact us in case of any questions.

What should I bear in mind when visiting with a group?

Groups of at least 15 people are requested to book in advance. Book your discounted group tickets in advance to avoid long queues at the ticket office. Are you interested in a guided tour of Sensoria? Please contact us.
