Fragrant Creative Ideas for Kids

During this creative, scent-filled afternoon, a small group will use watercolour paper and watercolours to create fragrant paintings. The children have the space to let their creative thoughts fly freely and are free to express themselves individually and spontaneously in pictures. For example, painting their own tree of life and then adding the appropriate fragrance to the picture not only encourages the children's creativity, but also trains them in the perception of fragrances. The scent of mandarin is cheering and encourages spontaneity and creativity, lemon awakens the mind and promotes concentration and lavender brings serenity and calm, because scents can harmonise, pamper, refresh, activate, relax and also strengthen and invigorate, like cedar or pine. It is up to the children to create their own personalised picture. Under the guidance of art and creative therapist and freelance artist Andrea Duurland, the children can intuitively immerse themselves in this world.

Your workshop leader Andrea Duurland has been active for years as an art/creative therapist, medicinal plant therapist, coach for edible wild plants, health coach for essential oils, happiness trainer and freelance artist.

She teaches her courses in a caring, conscious, open-hearted, humorous and mindful way. She approaches life with a smile and encourages her students to follow their own path with ease.

Her personal mission is to improve the lives and health of as many people as possible with a connection to nature.
